Blackpool: rides and weather????

Question

does anyone know whether the weather in blackpool during the week commencing 23rd june to 27th june will have an effect on the rides at all? Forecast states there may be light showers with cloudy skys.

curious as i am going during this week.

it should only effect the high rides if theres heavy wind! they may also take off kids rides that are not covered when the rain gets really heavy! it should be ok though

i have been to the pleasure beach when it was very windy and raining and all of the rides were still open.

everywhere is and will be still open....have a fab time...

Blackpool, rain, and needing plenty of money.....generally go together, although I've been on the occasional day when the sun's been blistering ..however, the Pleasure Beach survives.

The only time I've seen rides closed for safety reasons, is during extreme strong windy weather, and then there are still undercover rides available, so you should be fine.

Take or buy an easy pack-away mac, for all those that are going with you (and yourself of course), then if it is showery, you can just slip these on to cover you from the rain, then remove and store them away again when the sun shines. (they sell them along the sea front promenade)

Just enjoy !!! you're bound to have fun especially on the BIG UN !....
