Blackrose Eve set for a classy run in Gold Cup Final
Blackrose Eve will be looking to pull off a surprise in the Gold Cup Final at Henlow in England on Thursday, October 25, 2012. The mega event has attracted some highly talented greyhounds and all of them will be looking to make their team proud at the end
of the day.
Things will be quite interesting in the Grade OR contest and only the best participant will be able to grab a cash prize of £2500 in the end. No one seems to be in a dominant position right now, as most of the hounds are equally matched. They have worked
extremely hard in order to reach this level and there will be some pressure on them now.
Although the start will be important, it will not make a big different at the end of the day, as the overall distance to cover for the greyhounds will be 550 metres. It will be important for them to save some energy for the final moments of the competition,
when it will really matter the most.
Droopys English and Bubbly Ebony have been rated as the joint favourites for this event. Both have been performing really well for their respective teams and will definitely get the attention of the punters.
The former of the two hounds was unable to make a strong impression in his most recent Grade OR outing, as he finished as a runner up, despite being rated as the favourite to prevail. Therefore, he will be under more pressure compared to the rest.
On the other hand, Bubbly Ebony completed a hat-trick of victories in this class recently and he will be looking to stretch his winning streak. It will not be an easy task for him, but he certainly has the potential to outshine his rivals.
Coming back to Blackrose Eve, she is probably the most consistent performers of all out of the current entries. She has been delivering strong results for her team over the past many months and it will be a clever idea to risk more bets in her favour.
The E. Cantillon’s trained b***h had a very good race last time around, but she had to settle for the runner up spot in the end. She will need to take a step forward in order to stun her opponents in the end.
