Blackrose Monach expected to win August 545 – Dup
Blackrose Monach is all set to use his Grade OR experience in order to win the August 545 – Dup at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. A victory will earn him a cash prize of £150 in the end.
A total of six decent runners have been attracted towards the 545 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 21:30 GMT. All of them have been trained well, thus the spectators will be expecting a fierce battle for victory.
However, Blackrose Monach has the advantage of experience over his rivals. He has run regularly in this class and is fully aware of how to handle pressure situations. He will definitely be a force to reckon with at the end of the day. He has been priced
7 to 4 by the bookmakers and the punters will definitely be interested in risking some money on him.
The E. Cantillon’s trained hound debuted in June 2011 at Mildenhall, which means that he has got quite a lot of memories from this track. He took part in a few trial runs at the start of his career and did a reasonable job in them. This forced his team to
test him at the highest level.
Coincidently, Blackrose Monach’s first Grade OR outing was also at Mildenhall and he was rated as the favourite to win that event. He lived up to the expectations of everyone, but had to work hard for his victory, which came by just a head distance in the
end.
Overall, the black dog had a very good time in 2011, as he managed to win quite a few races back then. He did struggle on some occasions, but that did not worry his team much, as he kept on gaining confidence and experience with the passage of time.
Things did not work out well for the young runner in the ongoing season, as he struggled to win with consistency. His performances were good, but he lacked the strength which he had in his debut season.
Mildenhall has been a lucky track for Head Bound’s son out of Dear Prudence, thus his team will be hoping that he makes a strong impression at this venue today.
