I'm black and i have a Hispanic friend writing a book called "United We Stand". In the book he talks about how blacks, hipspanics, asians, indians and ethnic monorities should stand together and use our rich history to form a bond with each other. He talks about the problems facing us in America and how we can solve them with class, dignity and character. He says that we should use our cultures to become friends. We have to understand that we are not enemies and we can live and prosper in peace. I always hear people say it's a white person's world but that is not true. We can do what they do and sometimes even better.

  1. The wealthy elite would not tolerate it. They promote racial intolerance even though they preach the opposite. This isn't a new idea. It is racist to not even try to include whites that never had the power to oppress, though (and that would be the majority). Just because they are white. And if they tried to unite for their own betterment and safety you'd all cry racist. One by one whites are becoming deaf to that accusation, though. If you can then so can we. Yes we can! Not that most of us ever wanted to do so, as we were brainwashed against it, and trained to have more racial tolerance than minorities. But if we have no choice...

I think I have more in common with Black American than some whites, though, lol.

  2. Sounds good and nice. But, it sounds like it might be sugar coated.

  3. I am against this..Not that I like one race over another but on a CULTURAL level I relate to whites more than hispanics or asians...I am strongly agaisnt illegal immigrantion, am pro-christain, an for traditional American values..I have no interest in speaking Spanish..

  4. personally i think its just another way to divide us from the so called "majority" if we all just learn that people are people and who the h**l cares if there happens to be more of one race then the other.. then we all would get along just fine... i mean the book is a good idea but it can also back lash and make the "majority" feel like they should "unite" and create a book soley on white people.. oh wait they already did " http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com " LAME i know.. ok forget what I just said and keep on making that book!!

  5. Nice concept. reminds me of the justice league. Super heroes Unite.

  6. An alliance you mean? I'm not into that sort of stuff, sorry.

  7. I think your friend sounds like an undiscovered genius. I have never understood why those of us from diverse or mixed ethnic backgrounds should pit ourselves against one another. Tensions between non-white races just makes no sense. We all live in societies which are dominated by white people. Why should we fight to look like white people, live like white people, or be more accepted by white people than the other races?  They don't like Asians any better than blacks. It has just suited their political purposes over the years to keep us at one another's throats.

Tell your friend I would like to read his book when it comes out!

  8. This idea is nothing new:

In fact its taught in sociology classes and even women's studies classes at my college. I forget the term( sad..I know) but combined strength helped to pass laws for the  civil rights for women, blacks, workers, children , etc. Even men.

The world tends to benefit rich white men, not all whites. Usually these Unions are lead by ppl who understand the differences in cultures well enough to bridge the divide.   HOw many ppl bother to learn chinese who are not chinese? Or Hindi? Recently I took a chinese class and all my chinese friends were shocked- must be because Im Black. But if we are to break the divide this is exactly what we need to do. The cultures are diffrent and we need ppl who can show us how and why.

    you feel me?

    =D
