Blackstone Buzz gaining confidence with every single outing
Blackstone Buzz has improved a lot since making debut in the sport and will not need to deliver some consistent results in order to take the fight to the best in the business at the highest level of greyhound racing.
Some of the runners are naturally gifted and they do not have to work really hard in order to be competing against the best in the business. However, others are not so lucky and they have to work their way up to the top.
Blackstone Buzz is certainly one of those hounds, who had to train hard in order to start winning races. He raced at different venues throughout his career and gained some useful experience.
The black dog ran over 290 metres at Newcastle in his first ever outing in the sport. Although, it was just a trial session, it was more than enough to judge what he was capable of achieving in the future. He struggled in it though and his team realised
that a lot of effort was required to prepare him for bigger events.
Afterwards, the G. Oswald’s trainee did several solo runs before making an appearance in Grade OR events. This was probably too early for him to compete at the toughest level and he struggled to match his opponents. He did not have the speed and also lacked
the stamina to at-least fight for the top-three positions.
This was really disappointing, as he finished at the bottom of the table in both his OR outings. He was then sent in for more training sessions before he reappeared in this class, only to disappoint his fans once again.
Droopys Maldini’s son out of Blackstone Joy continued his struggle for the next few months before he finally came in a position to challenge his rivals at the highest level of greyhound racing.
Recently, Blackstone Buzz managed to bring up his maiden victory in this class, which was a joyous moment for his team. He was not rated as the favourite to succeed during that event, but surprised one and all in the end. He has certainly become a much better
performer with the passage of time and is gaining confidence with every single outing.
