I don't know which of the three I have. When I pee at the very end probably the last 5 seconds or so it burns really bad and I feel like my bladder is closing up inside my body. My boyfriend and I had s*x earlier when I had no sympoms and then after we were done I itched for a couple minutes and was scared I had a yeast infection because that means i gave it to him and we are going away this weekend and it would ruin the whole time. It itches for about 30 seconds after I pee too.

Ive been drinking a lot of water and the burning doesnt seem to be going away....

  1. burns when you pee,you have a uTI.see a doctor so he/she can prescribe antibiotics and something for the burning.itching, yea maybe yeast.just see a doctor, you'll have ti taken care of in no time.oh and also make sure you pee after s*x so you can flush out bacteria.

  2. bladder and uti are essentially the same thing. but really there is no way to tell what is going on. so i would cover all basis and keep hydrated, drink cranberry juice, take some azo and if this doesnt help and the itching gets worse...it is probably yeast, so get the monistat. by the way your boyfriend is not necessarily going to get a yeast infection if that is what you have. it is much harder for guys to get one. hope everything goes well

  3. My guess is UTI, but I'm not a doctor.Go see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis, and prescription for antibiotics. Eat yogurt every day while taking the antibiotics, cause for some women antibiotics cause yeast infections! They kill all the bacteria, good and bad. Yogurt helps, or if you know you'll get one, start treatment a couple days after you start your prescription.

If you are prone to getting UTIs or bladder infections, don't wear thong panties, they cause it. Also, drink lots of cranberry juice (not cranberry juice cocktail, but real juice). that'll help clear it up and prevent it. Good luck!

  4. UTI or bladder infection....doesn't matter which..you need to go to your doctor and get it diagnosed. They can give you an antibiotic that will start to work right away.  Your weekend will be much more fun if your infection is clearing up instead of getting worse.  Take some condems on your trip so you give the infection time to clear up completely. You shouldn't leave an infection like this go untreated because they can cause more long term problems.  Also your doctor can talk with you about things to do to prevent them in the future. Good luck!
