The 25-year-old believes that Paris Saint-Germain can deal with the absence of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 international, who is expected to miss the club’s next game of the campaign
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 man is expected to miss the match against Bordeaux this Sunday, after picking up an ankle injury during a training session.
Although PSG failed to score a goal against Ajaccio last week, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Blaise-Matuidi-c7681 feels that the club has several players at their disposal to fill that void.
While talking to reporters, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international admitted that the Swede is a very important player for the Parisiens but stated that they are more than capable to cope with Ibrahimovic’s absence.
"We have enough players to compensate for the injury of one player. We know that he is very important. There are many players available to make up for an injury or two."
Despite having a very strong squad, Paris Saint-Germain have started the season on a back-foot, with just 2 points from their opening two games of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign.
However, Matuidi feels that the players need to be more focused. Paris Saint-Germain are the Ligue 1 heavyweights and every team in the league steps up their game against them. And the Frenchman is of the view that PSG will find it difficult this season
unless they change their mentality.
"It's only a question of mentality. We cannot rely solely on our technical qualities because the other teams are hungry. When they play against Paris, they try to transcend themselves”
Cash-laden Paris Saint-Germain didn’t get off to a good start this season. After drawing their first two games of the season, Carlo Ancelotti’s side will entertain Bordeaux at Parc des Princes on Sunday.
And Blaise Matuidi is wary of the threat Les Girondins pose and is expecting a tough challenge from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-c13946 Gillot’s side.
"They are a good team that have always played well at the Parc des Princes. We have been warned, but we don't need to focus on the other team, but only on ourselves.”
Paris Saint-Germain have not hit the top gear so far.  However, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping for a good performance from his players this time around to get their season on track.
