Real Madrid and Blaise Matuidi wants to avoid that.
While talking to reporters, the France international stated that Champions League is the best club competition in the world and Paris Saint-Germain will be keeping a close eye on the draw. Every team out there in the competition wants to win the prestigious
trophy and Matuidi is hoping for a favourable draw as it will enhance his side’s chances in the competition.
“We will certainly be keeping a close eye on the draw. The Champions League is the top, and we're hoping for a favourable draw.”

“We're already assured of a home game, and that's a great thing.”
The 25-year-old added that every team in the Champions League are tough and they are here because they deserve it. PSG can’t take any side lightly but in football, there are few team that are weaker as compared to others, and Matuidi wants PSG to face a
team that has comparatively less European experience.
“There are certain less-vaunted sides like Celtic or Galatasaray who, even though they deserve to be there and are capable of big things, and we'd love to avoid the heavyweights, like Real Madrid.”
