The 25-year-old rates the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 man in high regards and believes that the Swede is among the very best in the business.
While talking to reporters, the former Saint-Etienne player stated that he has played alongside so many great players, but Ibrahimovic is on a whole other level.
The 30-year-old has added something special to the squad and the Frenchman has been impressed by what he has seen of the Swede so far.
“Ibrahimovic is the best player with whom I have played. But I knew he would be before he arrived at Parc des Princes,” Matuidi told reporters.
Praising the striker, Matuidi said that Ibrahimovic is brilliant on the ball and he makes things look so simple with his sheer brilliance and technique.
"He is an exceptional player and the things he can do on the pitch, is simply amazing.”
The French midfielder added that even in training, the former Juventus player is hard to play against. He always wants to win and for that, the 30-year-old trains really hard every day.
Matuidi said that he is surprised to see a player, who has won so much in his career, playing with such enthusiasm.
"Even during training, he always wants to win, from Monday to Friday. I am surprised at his enthusiasm actually.”
The former Troyes player added that Paris Saint-Germain are lucky to have a player like Ibrahimovic in their ranks, and has backed his side to achieve their objectives this season.
"A player with so much finesse and technique, it is unheard of to have such a player in our side. We’re so happy to have him here."
