While talking to reporters, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international stated that Paris Saint-Germain have enjoyed a good season despite facing several ups and downs in the process. Referring to PSG’s slump in form in the month of November, Matuidi said that it was a disappointing
situation for everyone at the club and they responded to that very quickly.
"In my eyes, we've had a good start to the season. We had a tough moment in November, sure, but we got ourselves back on track and I hope that we finish the year in style in Brest so that we can really enjoy our holidays."
The 25-year-old added that being the autumn champions is not that much important but has stressed that PSG need to win their last game of the year as it will help players enjoy their holidays.
“Last season we were Autumn Champions but ten ended up finishing second at the end of the season.”
The Paris Saint-Germain played said that Les Parisiens want to win the Championelle this season and the need is to be at the top in May. However, finishing 2012 as league leaders is also important and Matuidi is looking forward to the Brest game.
“The most important thing is to be in top spot in May, but we certainly want to finish 2012 well on Friday night so that we can really enjoy our holidays.”
