  1. You pretty much have to have a brain riddled with spirochetes to see it as an issue, don't you think?

  2. i agree

even the ipcc reports can not for certain blame humans for climate change.

it seems that the ipcc are also doing there best to distance themselves from the term 'global warming' which usually associate humans as the culprits.

this winter globally is one of the coldest in years as well as increasing the Antarctic winter ice it's also increasing the thickness of the all year ice.

of course one year is not enough to convince anyone that everything is back to normal but it has  given the alarmist AGW's a lot to worry about.

think about it the AGW alarmists are predicting one calamity after another yet couldn't predict this 'unusual' cold winter.

i used the word 'unusual' much the same way AGW alarmists used it when we have an 'unusual, hot summer, perhaps if we put all the 'unusual' seasons together we simply get the usual balance climate.

even all the new documentaries discussing climate change keep on mentioning that climate change is still being debated, is it man made or nature doing its cycles.

why is venus, mars, jupiter and even pluto experience there own global warming? solar activity no it can't be it must be the astronauts driving there space buggies.

it is wrong on so many levels

expecting us to curb our way of life without concrete proof that we are the caused is immoral, corrupt and downright bullying on a grand scale.

listening to al gores polictical film which had 35 major errors, nine of which had to be corrected in a london high court before they sent it out to the schools.

makes me mad, considering it was his film that really brought the whole pile of c**p to the public in the first place.

saving energy or keeping our enviroment clean is good for the consumer but taxing us for living is pure daylight robbery.

the only comfort i have is knowing that one day soon this whole scam is going to be blown wide open and bringing the end to this global madness (until something else happens  eg talking statues or the invasion of lizard men from planet bongo).

  3. I disagree. We're mostly responsible for the current climate change, so blaming ourselves is perfectly reasonable.

Which levels do you think it's wrong on, exactly?

  4. it might be wrong but it pays the taxes

  5. Yes, it is wrong.

The problem is, a whole money making industry is based on the premise of human-caused climate change.  Whenever big money is involved, all research and inquiries are subject to being bent.

I agree generally that waste is wrong, but it shouldn't cost any more money.

  6. I agree.

  7. Agreed.

  8. Don't know the answer but its a natural cycle, maybe its a  conspiracy to conserve our dwindling natural energy reserves until we get enough new technology on line to support the U.K.

  9. I agree.  As a geologist, I understand better than most that the climate is not stable.  We are in an interglacial period and the climate has generally warmed since 10,000 years ago.  Trying to suggest that we know enough to blame humans for significant harmful warming is more about wishful thinking than reality.

  10. "we are putting gasses in the air that don't belong there"

So you don't exhale or f**t?

  11. Agree

The Global Warming cause is very profitable to some people.

  12. Wrong on so many of your selfish, self-fulfilling and  denying levels.  Right on the levels of the rest of us who care.  Wrong on so many of your selfish, self-fulfilling and  denying levels.  Right on the levels of the rest of us who care. 13. totally agree.  i read something interesting that there is something of a conspiracy going on to get everyone on board with how we are causing global warming, so that one day they will have some control over us all.  it made some sense to me.  the globe is warming, but it's a natural cycle and we can't stop it or increase it.  that's what i think.

  14. I agree. There are people out there who believe a lie is OK, if it is done with good intentions. The good intentions are in this case, environmental awareness,  the lie is AGW.  When lies are lofted about from all directions, men become confused concerning the truth. He must rely wholly on his own common-sense.

  15. Its not because its the truth.  Global warming and climate change are natural, but we also make it much greater by releasing warming chemicals (such as CO2) into the atmosphere.  But saying we need to go back to hunter/gatherer lifestyles and get rid of technology is stupid.  It sucks that we are hurting the environment, but that's natural -all organisms pollute.  We just need to be careful.  We need to set limits, and try to at least do the smallest things like turn off lights, computers, and radios when they aren't used.  Get energy saving cars and other technology and just make smart choices about energy use.

if we do that, we can't really be "blamed" for anything.

  16. I think that we are a major contributing factor to it...

But I think that's it's inevitable, and it would have happened at some point anyway...

  17. agree

  18. Global warming, climate change, call it what you like but if people really believe that man is responsible, then perhaps they can explain who was to blame for the last ice age and the subsequent warming up when it ended. Man wasn't around then. The Earth goes through warming up and cooling down periods all on its own. Always has and always will, irrespective of whether anyone is on this planet or not. The big problem here is that our government has seen a way to try and tax everything they can think of (e.g. plastic bags, rubbish collections) that might, just might have a bearing on this subject and the gullible public believe them.

  19. Of course, but it is being pushed by anti capitalist socialist. They do not care about the environment (note the use of private planes by the Bali delegates). They care about stifling the free market, and developing additional tax revenue. And whenever the government uses a specific tax, it is really a way of limiting our freedoms and controlling the population (raise taxes to reduce smoking, reduce alcoholic drinking, etc). This has nothing to do with global warming. The IPCC has said Kyoto would do nothing to the temp.

  20. Disagree, OK so nature might be throwing a bigger spanner in the works than we ever could but we know what we're doing so couldn't do it.

It *might* be right that we are having no effect on the climate but that's irrelevant, we are putting gasses in the air that don't belong there, chemicals in oceans and rivers, plundering the earth for resources and creating land fill sites bigger than Holland.  Can't be good for the Earth using it as a giant litter tray.
