Blank DVD region code?

Okay, well I have some blank DVDs and I plan on taking a video (not of anything illegally downloaded, the video is MINE, and I mean, I filmed it and everything) and burning onto a DVD.

I live in USA (region 1) , and I need it to play in Korea.

Since it's a blank DVD burned on my computer, will it play in korea (which is a region 3)? do blank dvds even have region codes?

I believe these 'region' settings are for copywriten DVD's, like you'd buy in a store from that country, or similar 'production' type movie, or music video, etc.

Not to worry unless your home creation has been copy protected via the software; that may require the playing machine to be synchronized for the region it was created in.

I think blank DVDs or ones you burned do not carry a Region code
