Blank Pokemon.. How do I get rid of it ?

Question

My son was using the Pokemon Diamon on Ds and came across a pokemon that sent him into a battle.

The pokemon had no name and could not be seen. My son captured it, and now it is in his party.

The problem is, we can't get rid of it, or do anything with it. It doesn't show up as anything.

Anyone have any ideas ??

got to the poebox thing in pokemarts that restore health to pokemon. select move pokemon, and press a on that pokemon. it will say some options, one of which is release. thats how you get rid of it.
