Hi,I'm working on an Asrock K7vt2 mobo with an AMD Duron 1.30ghz proc 128mb (pc133) sdram winxp. AGP 4x AMI bios v.3.31a Prob started after attempting to add 128mb more ram. I was already getting 1 beep at startup. After adding the ram, I began getting 1 beep, pause and 2 short beeps. PC will boot as far as the xp welcome screen then goes black never to get to the desktop. I also lose the keyboard at this point. I reinstalled xp, no luck same symptoms. I switched out mem for 512mb ddr still no luck. I took out cmos battery for a while (over 30mins.) Got different set of beep codes, set bios to default settings, and still same symptoms.I have also tried fixmbr with no luck.PC will boot to safe mode with a start bar and working kybd and mouse, but desktop still blank. Can anyone help, Please?Thanks...
