Blank screen on w880i?

Question

I've just tried to make a video with my w880i and It fell over and turned off. It usually turns back on afterwards. Sometimes when I play music it also turns off randomly. I bought it on ebay, but It was fine.

It now turns on, but the screen is on and bright, but is blank. What is happening and how can I fix it.

I only bought a new phone because I washed my other one and i am Not buying a new one!

First of all try taking the battery out with the phone switched on and leave it out for a few seconds then switch the phone back on. If this doesn't make any difference then its either a software issue or a screen issue. If its a software issue use the Sony Ericsson software updater to try and resolve it (ensure everything personal is saved to the memory card as the memory will be wiped although this might not be an option as the screen doesn't work) Link here = http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/...

If it does turn out to be a screen issue Sony Ericsson would be able to repair it providing its less than 2 years old as they have a 2 year warranty, you just need proof of purchase
