I'm looking for a bleach and ammonia-free floor cleaner for my kitchen and lounge floor to clean up after my puppy. Any ideas welcome - do not want to spend a fortune on 'specialist' pet disinfectants. Thanks

  1. I am not in the UK but I can give you an effective floor cleaner idea - its called white vinegar and one quarter to one half cup of generic brand white vinegar to a half bucket of water will clean your floors beautifully and leave a nice shine on either tile or wood - it will also neutralise puppy piddle smells nicely and using just the vinegar and no soap means no sticky residue left on the tiles or wood for dirt to stick to

And best of all its very economical

  2. I use ecover products at home which are great quality but also environmentally friendly.

It wont leave any horrible chemicals around for your puppy's sake but will also effectively clean your floor.

Only problem is some are limited to certain surfaces so have a look through and see what they offer.
