Bleach: is it just me or do soul reapers actually never go to the real world to destroy hollows?

I mean Rangiku even said in ep86 that she hasnt been to the real world in ages I mean isn't that what soul reapers are for?

Well, it doesn't make sense for captains and leiutenants to get sent to Earth for anything besides an emergency, sicne they can't use their full power. In addition, there are likely 30+ seated members and hundreds of unseated members of each Squad, and even an unseated like Rukia was considered capable of handling routine situations on Earth, so it's not like they are short-staffed on capable people.

that's why they have 13 divisions. each has different responsibilities and its not always capts or vice capts that go to the real world to fight hollows, its the third or unseated member that are sent. However there are times when things are happening that require the attention of capts or vice capts and on the orders of the general commander will venture to the real world.

That is not true. How do you think Icihgo got his abilities? Rukia went into the real world.

Later in the series, the focus on hollows was little until Ivan.

Of course. If you haven't seen it yet Bleach Memories of Nobody has people like Zarachi, Renji and now to think of it all of the Squad Captains show up in this movie. So ya soul reapers are always in the real world.
