Bleach messed up my drain cover, is it fixable?

I used straight bleach in the bathtub, now the chrome on the drain & stopper are corroded black. (puddled for a while.) Is there a way to get it off or is it ruined? If it's ruined, is it a big deal to replace something like that? How? Help, HELP? I hate corrosion! (thanks for any advice)

yeah thats corrotion your better off getting a new drain cover.... im surprised bleach caused it to corrode though.
