Bleach stains?

my new black shorts werre washed with the white laundry by accident and now there are bleach stains on them ...

if i buy a dye for fabric will they be like new?

  1. yeah and vintage i would totally do i mean your not gonna wear them with just bleach stains right so what have you got to lose

  2. usually in the beauty salon the girls wear black because of the bleaching in their clothes . one of the things they do to minimize those white spots is to usea black permanent marker . at leat you won't loose them.

  3. They won't look like new but they will look better, get Rit dye and give it a try

  4. It's an option. Otherwise you will just have worthless shorts. You may have to dye it repeatedly to even out the colors, but it is a good idea.

No.  Your only option is to strip the color and start over.  Rit color remover will work, being very careful with it.  Then redye using extremely hot water in a pot on the stove, and two packages of dye.  Add 1 cup of table salt to set the dye, rinse well, and dry.  It may be better to buy another pair since they will definitely be on sale now.  Sorry Sweetie!

  6. Fabric dye will cover the spot but they will not look new again.  Black is the hardest color to dye with...
