I think they sort of have... but it's really really slow. All Shinigami's age really really slow. The old Yamamoto guy is like 3 thousand years old I think.

this always confuses me but i heard a rumor that in soul society 100 years is about 1 year in the living world.

Yea, that part never makes sense, at least not to me. They grow until a certain age, then they just stop completely eh? But I guess you just got to go along with it.

Well, maybe because they're physical appearance doesn't change whatever their age is or the mangaka really wanted them to be like that to increase the humor or I don't know...
