ok so there were some black spots on my carpet...and just normal little dirty spots on my carpet and the color of the carpet is creamish tan....the modern color (it's not white) but it's not tan....I'm not sure if you know what I mean....but it's an off white....and so my mom used bleach....and bleached out the spots on my carpet that were "dirty" and now there's like splotches of this "purple" color from where she bleached the carpet....and it looks REDICULOUS!!! is there anything to get the bleach out and something to put over the bleach to bring it back to the normal color???

  1. Bleach did not stain the carpet.  The black spots did.  The purple spots come from the bleach not getting the stains you got on the carpet all the way out.  Bleach does not add color, it takes color away.  You can try bleach again to pull out the purple, you can replace the carpet, or you can live with purple spots.

  2. cut them out and patch or replace the carpet.NEVER use bleach on a carpet ever!!
