Is it really a big deal doing it myself???

Not a big deal doing it yourself, no.  BUT...Make sure you use bleaching stuff from a beauty supply store or better.  L'oreal , clairol, revlon, ect. does not work. It'll turn you orange.

Nah. Not at all. Just by some hair bleaching cream, read the instructions and do what it says. :)

It's a big deal if you want if you really care how it comes out. There are so many levels of color when bleaching hair. The do-it-yourself bleaching job stands out like a sore thumb. Often, the color isn't even, so some spots will be a different color, it can come out brassy. You also have to consider what color the hair is when you start. It's a difficult job, which is why it's one of the more expensive jobs that a stylist does. I say spend a few bucks and have it done by a professional. You'll be happy in the end.
