Bleaching question! Hairstylists please answer!?

I dyed my hair black a long long time ago. It's washed out now and my hair is like a orange-ish tinted dark brown (like when it's in the sun, it shines orangey. My roots that grew out are about an inch and half and are a little bit darker, since dark brown is my natural hair color. You can't really notice the difference. Will this cause a problem when i'm bleaching my hair? I'm going platinum blonde and I don't know if the roots will look different.

  1. No, but i'd suggest going to a salon, if it's orange now who knows what could happen, there's a reason why it's expensive at a hairdressers.

  3. if u dye ur hair to much with to many colrs it wont look good it will ruin ur hair and the color will look horribel.

id let ur hair grow out get it cut than think about dying it

  4. OOOOOO YES! You better be going to a stylist because those different colors will pull uneven and be horrible if you don't know what you are doing.

  5. you should go to a salon to get it dyed

you will never be able to get your hair platinum blond from a box at home

it may seem like a lot of money but if you really want this hair style it will be worth it

doing it at home could turn your hair bright orange, yellow or blotchy

  6. Don't lighten it yourself.  The only thing I'd suggest you doing yourself is to darken it to match your roots!  Go to a pro!
