  1. It should be getting lighter. But its been a while for me since I was last pregnant. I would call your OB and see what they say.

  2. It's normal to bleed for up to six weeks after delivery and it can be very heavy. As long as you arent having anemia symptoms (dizzines, fainting, etc) its just the normal process...it stinks I know

  3. Unless you're soaking maxipads at least 2X an hour, you'll probably be okay.  If this goes on too long, though, I'd call my ob.  You don't want to end up anemic and both you and baby end up ill.

    Congratulations!!

  4. As a rule it should be getting lighter, but if you've been moving around a lot it can get heavier. This would happen to me if I was trying to get extra housework done, etc. Just take it as your body's sign to put your feet up and relax! You've just been through a lot afterall! If it puts your mind at ease, maybe mention it to your doctor when you see him / her next.

  5. Its normal to bleed after pregnancy. I hated it. That is the same situation i had. i was like oh gosh this isnt so bad everyone told me i would bleed like crazy then about a week after delivering i was like OH GOSH here we go. It will lighten up and become like a normal period then soon go away. could take a couple week though. rule is if your filling up a super maxi pad every hour(soaked) you need to call your Dr

    Congratulations on your baby girl.

  6. i would watch out for it becus blood clots can be bad. but u can call your ob and ask or call the hospital that u had your baby at. i had a c-section and was told that blood clots the size of golf balls are bad and could be bleeding uterus

  7. My son is 11 weeks old now and at first it lightened up and then got heavy for a day or two. It should start to lighten up again and get lighter all the time, if it gets very heavy or stays fairly heavy I would call my ob. Congratulations on your new baby!

  8. i think its normal, at least it was for me. i would bleed a little bit and then BAM! it would be bright red and quite a bit. if you are terribly worried then call the doctor. i think youre ok though.
