so I got my wisdom teeth pulled one week ago. and I never experienced anything bad.

then all of a sudden 6 days after my surgery my left side on my bottom started to bleed after I irrigated it with the suringe the dentist provided me.

now whenever I brush or eat the bottom left side starts to bleed.

I'm not swelling bad, and there's no severe pain. it just randomly started bleeding...

when it starts to bleed I bite down on a piece of gauze for a while...

  1. drop everything and go to your dentist you could have an infection which can cause dry socket

  2. It will stop.

NEVER suck on the gum spot.  Try to leave it alone.

Rinse with salty water to toughen up your gums.

The gauze will help, but be careful not to let it tear open the scarry area.  Try keeping the gauze wet.

  3. Your fine, it'll go away. The irrigating syringe is used to remove food debris and it will cause bleeding which is normal. Dont worry.

  4. You were a little aggressive in your irrigating, it sounds like.  Now the area has to begin healing again. Be gentle.

You may have an infection at the site.

Infections in the mouth will affect your ears, lymph glands, jaw, and may involve your blood.

Call your dentist or surgeon so they can monitor you.

  5. my wisdom teeth are just cummin in, and they bleed a lot i dunno wtf is up with that. if sum1 knos y, could u email me plz. i dont like bloody wisdom teeth.
