Bleeding after s*x..period not to start for another week?

Last night, my bf and I had s*x and it wasnt rough or anything. I hate to go into detail but he is rather large and went a little deep. But it didn't hurt and we've never had a problem before. Well I am not expecting my period until Friday and I am having all my PMS symptoms that I usually have. Do you think that he caused me to have my period early? This morning, nothing when I checked, by the way. And it wasn't a little blood. It was bright red when I wiped and that was it. We have also been having unprotected s*x. But not around the time of expected ovulation. Could that have anything to do with it? We don't have STDs. We are monogamous and have been checked. For the past two weeks however, I have been feeling a little dizzy and nauseated. And this was especially after I went on a road trip to see a concert. I ate at a seedy restaurant and two days later I had the chills and felt like I was going to throw up and had a fever. Ever since then, I haven't felt right. Always nauseated after I eat and indigestion. I think I may have caught a bug. Could this have something to do with me bleeding?

  1. I would call your doctor and get an appointment just to be sure nothing is seriously wrong with you.

  2. I don't think getting sick from eatting the other night had anything to do with the bleeding after s*x.

About two years ago I started noticing that I had bleeding after s*x too. It was very strange b/c it came out of the blue and I had never had anything like that before.

I ignored it for a few months, but it definitely put a damper on us TTC b/c I didn't want  to have s*x that much b/c I didn't want to have to deal with the mess of it all (sorry if TMI). It even got to the point where I insisted we do it on a towel so I didn't ruin the sheets!

Finally I went to a doc about it. They said I could have endometriosis. I had never heard about that and it freaked me out. I had to wait for 6 months of having these problems before the insurance would agree to cover the laproscopy (exploratory surgery) to see what the problem was. Sure enough, it turns out I have Stage 2 Endo.

I have a lot of other endo symptoms too (extremely heavy and painful periods, sometimes pain/uncomfortable with s*x, etc), but I just sorta thought those were flukes. It wasn't until the bleeding with s*x that I started really getting concerned.

If you want to just wait and see what happens, you certainly can. I did. But that just made it that much longer before I found out what's really going on and was able to deal with it.

Feel free to contact me off my profile if you have any other q's or need to talk more about it...

  3. You need to go and see the Dr. and if you don't start your period you should get an HPT you  may have ovulated early or later then you expected the bleeding could have been implation bleeding but you never know i was like that a few weeks ago i had bleeding after s*x i went to the dr, and they didn't know what was causing it either the said it may be pulps (i think that's how you spell it) those are like little skin tags in your v****a that get irritated with intercourse but that wasn't it they did blood work but still nothing. the best thing is just to see a doc good luck.
