Bleeding after surgery?

Question

I had surgery a week ago yesterday. and on Saturday I started to bleed really bad it didn't stop for about and hour and a half. Then tonight a week after everything I started to bleed again. This time it was really bad it ran down my leg got all over the carpets all over everything is this normal? I am still bleeding after applying pressure on it over 1 and a half hours ago?

If you're bleeding quite a bit, then I'd definitely go back and get checked out soon. The problem might not be immediate, but it is something to be cautious about.

If I were you, I'd call a doctor during the day and ask him. Tell him exactly what happened and the surgery you had done (if he doesn't know already). I think he could advise you better than on here.

I would just go to the hospital. You shouldnt be bleeding after having surgery a week ago. Something is not right. Go get help now before it gets worse. Good luck.
