I know i just asked a question a few days ago, but the bleeding was going on friday, with some clotting that evening, then started yesterday around 10am, lighter then friday. then today there was absolutely nothing until 330pm. now i am having some brownish-red bleeding, not much and its hardly marking the pad, i am having some lower pain, not much, and its not when I'm bleeding. i called my doctor about 3 times yesterday and she said that as long as i don't go Thur one pad in an hour then i am fine. my doctors office wont be open until tuesday at 8:30 and now I'm just waiting until then. i had a miscarriage 4 years ago with twin boys at 20 weeks, so the sight of blood is really playing a part on my emotions. any advice would help thanks so much

  1. I think that you should go to the ER.  Bleeding and cramping are signs of miscarriage early in pregnant.  There are other reasons this may be going on, but I think it will ease your mind to go.

  2. i never fill up a pad or my cramps were bad but as bad as i thought , i had a miscarriage, you have to do what YOU feel inside, you know your body, and you cant compare you situation with others, if you fell you need to go , then i would go to the ER or call nurse on call, they should be close monitoringyou seen what happened to you before..

not the nurse telling you your fine.

  3. I would insist on an ultrasound.  If your doc won't accept this, I would drop him and go to the ER.  Trust your instincts.

  4. hi there

you might be okay as some women do bleed a lil especially in the first trimester. but do not listen when people say "oh youre fine i bleed throughout my entire pregnancy!" that might of turn out good for them, but everybody is different. also make sure you go to the ER if possible to make sure your blood levels are rising and that your cervix is closed [may not detect heartbeat this early] as long as the bleeding doesnt fill a pad and does not become bright red or start having bad cramping you can be okay. good luck hun.

  5. and your doctor doesn't have someone on-call for stuff like this?  Does your insurance company have a nurse line you can call?  If you're this worried I'd head over to an urgent care.  Don't use an ER if you have another option, it will be cheaper and you'll be seen faster.  Just my opinion
