  1. im sure is normal my midwife said if its brownis blood means old blood and there for it is ok as iv had brownish blood thro out being pregnant x

  2. Unless your having severe abdominal pain then I would suggest its nothing to worry about and just normal cramping as your uterus adapts to being pregnant. It is normal and the brownish blood is probably implantation bleed. I had both the brownish blood and cramping when I was in the early stages and I'm now 22 weeks. If you bleed alot or if you experience severe pain then contact your GP asap.

  3. I had the same problem at 4/5 weeks when I would have been due my period, I also had it again at around 7/8 weeks. I got my HCG levels checked and they doubled as they should, then I got a emergency scan.....I found out my cervix was raised and this was causing the brown spotting. Oh and I found out I'm having twins : ) I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, so hopefully everything will be ok. If your worried at all, like I was speak to your doctor, thats what they are there for. The first doctor I spoke to when I was 4/5 weeks pregnant, said I just had to wait it out and hope it was only implantation bleeding. I wasn't happy with that response and made a appointment with different doctor, hence the reason I got my HCG levels checked. Good luck and congratuations x*x

  4. Spotting can be pretty normal in the first trimester.  Have you gone to the doctor yet?  If you don't have an appointment soon, I would schedule one earlier.  Since it can also be a sign of a problem, they may just have to go do a blood test w/o coming in to their office exactly.  I'd call and ask what they advise.

  5. it could be implantation bleeding, where you loose a little of blood as the egg settles in, or it could be something more serious.  You need to get it checked out. Don't panic just yet, implantation can cause cramps as well. good luck

  6. One of my relatives had this same problem apart from she didnt know that she was pregnant. Everything was fine but i would still recommend going into see your GP just to check everything is running smoothly..

    Hope all goes well..

  7. Bleeding should never be considered normal - i was 10 weeks pregnant and had brownish coloured disharge for a few days until it became dark red and i found out i had lost the baby...You should always see your doctor/midwife and report the bleeding, most likely it will be okay but you need the peace of mind that you have done everything you can.  Good luck x*x

  8. when i was about 7 months pregnant i was at work and  was bleeding i went to the hospital immediately to find outand i had high pressure, pulse and so on.i was admitted for almost two weeks .the doctors did an ultra sound to see if any bleeding was taking place inside but their was none.so i think you should go to the doctor and check it out

my friend was also pregnant and bleeding and when she went to do ultra sound the baby was dead and she was 6 months pregnant so go and check it out right away

  9. unless it gets particularly painful or there's more blood, then I wouldn't worry. It's normal to have a little bleed (as long as it's not enough to fill a pad) and the cramping is also considered normal too. If you get worse or develop a fever, get to a doctor.

    good luck.

  10. Hi, never take bleeding as being 'normal'.. I had VERY MILD cramps when 5wks pregnant and then had VERY light bleeding, was only when i wiped at the beginning, turned out to be a blighted ovumn, miscarriage.  I would suggest getting it checked out just to be on the safe side, a lot of people do bleed during pregnancy so chances are it is nothing to worry about
