Bleeding through a super tampon in 20 minutes?

So just got my first period since my daughter was born she is 10 months old and my doctor said that it was normal since I am breastfeeding. but I am bleeding so heavy i am going through a super tampon in 20 minutes or less, the blood is bright red, and the blood clots are the size of golf balls. the cramping is terrible, I have never been in this much pain in my life, giving birth to 2 kids was lees pain than these cramps. Could I be having a miscarriage maybe?

I think I would go to the ER, if you are in that much pain, and the clots are that big.

Well if you've had unprotected intercourse anything is possible.  I would call the doctor to make sure though.  I've had two children and gotten my first periods after the birth much sooner than you.  A couple of months after their birth and I nursed as well.  Perhaps your bleeding so hard because it's been 10 months.  Check in with the doc to make sure.

sounds like it. if i were you i would use a pad and go to the emergency room. bc if your not having a miscarriage then you might be hemorrhaging. be safe and go in.

I have no idea, but I'd certainly go to the ER.  Better safe than sorry.  That sounds a bit heavy to me and you definitely shouldn't be cramping that badly. Best of luck.

My mother had this problem! You may be hemoraging! And its really serious, you have to see a gyno. My mother nearly died she lost so much blood. You may have cysts or something going on with your womb. Honestly, go to the doctors asap, they told my mom that if she'd got there 24 hours later it could have been fatal and she was clotting and using tampons and towels but it just kept going straight through them.
