How does Lupito's death change Tony spirtitually/mentally? I know he started to question his religion but how did the event change Tony and helped him grow up?

Same with his uncle Lucas' healing, how did it change Tony mentally/spiritually?

A clear explanation is what I need .... thank you in advance.
