Who go off to fight in a wicked war

Caressed are the generals

Who wage toil for the poor

Blessed is the president

Who hides the real truth?

behind a snake smile

that ripples & shines

under the glare of cameras that blind

as CNN and Fox tell pork pies

Wars are fought & exchanged

blood for oil

rich get high

showing off their spoils

as bloody bodies

lay in the soil

Blessed are the meek

so shall inherit the earth

they lie in their graves

and what’s worse

as a president

pretends he cares

We all say it everyday, change to see it said
