Blinded Angels?

Question

I've been wondering about why angels and such are sometimes shown with a rag over their eyes, and sometimes their eyes are bleeding. What's that supposed 2 symbolize? A quick example can be found on this album cover (altho I know like 3 music videos and a ton more things that depict it)... anyone know?

Okay, so its not only angels, but I'm still wondering what it means...

Some stems from cupid, who was blindfolded and resembled and angel. Some is because angels "see no evil" and the bloody eyes must mean that there was so much evil the angel decided there was nothing worth seeing.

i think it has somthing to do with not seeing all the bad in the world and when they are bleeding then they have done it to them selfs but im not to sure
