  1. Stop doing it.

  2. My husband has a similar problem with blinking and cheek, eye, lips twitching . To make a loooong story short ....go to a neurolgist . We have found out as you age, from high blood pressure, etc. your nerves and blood vessels will  stretch, move , sometimes will lay on a nerve and will send mixed signals to the brain. Have your neurologist do a MRI and a MRA. to be sure.

  3. why are you doing it? do your eyes actually need to be blinked (dry or itchy)??? or is it a nervous habit? either try eye drops if they are dry & itchy, and if it's a nervous habit, see your doctor and ask about calming your nerves.

  4. I'd see an optician as excessive blinking can be a sign of other medical conditions, but if it's purely in the mind, then hypnosis might help.
