Blinking light on the chi?

i just got my chi and the light keeps blinking its been a while so it cant meen its still heating up so whats the deal?

Ok when you first turn it on it does not blink. When it reaches the high temperature it blinks and never stops until you turn it off. It seems backwards to me but thats how they made it

When the light is blinking, that means it is fully heated. You'll notice when you first turn it on, its a solid red light then shortly after it starts blinking.

The deal wit the blinking light means that it has reached the full teperature and ifnyou relized when you first turn your strightner on it is a solid red light and that means is has not reached it maximu teperature.
