Blisters around a open wound?

so im watching my niece for my sister... my neice is on antibiotics for strep throat she's almost done with the medicine anyways i noticed she had a little cut on her finger and its surrounded by blisters, well then on her other hand she has a cut that i had noticed the other day well i didnt notice anything the other day but there is blister on that one aswell what could this be????/ its not acne shes 2 and its on her hands around 2 different booboos..........

  1. Usually blisters are caused by 2 things, heat and allergic reaction.  Is the cuts infected?  If so, it could generate enough heat to cause a blister.

    Did she have a bandage on the cut?  If so, it could be a reaction to the adhesive.  

    I would clean both cuts with soap and water.  And wrap a small gauze dressing around it and see if the blisters go away.
