I went to the beach last weekend and i got a little too much sun and ended up with pretty much the worst sunburn i've ever had. My whole upper body is red and my shoulders and upper back have dozens of little yellow blisters on them, i didnt think it was serious until i woke up today and there are two huge blisters on each side of my upper back, they are about an inch to and inch and a half wide. Is it worth it to go to a doctor or can i just wait for them to go away?

  1. Go to a doctor NOW!  That is very serious sunburn and you need proper treatment.

  2. When you go to the doctor what to expect. They may apply silvadene cream to them and gauze wrap them up and have you change the dressing everyday until healed.

  3. its 2nd deggre burn go to the doctor but if its just like a tiny spot like on your nose youll be just fine I got 2nd deggre sunburn on back never went to hospital ouch let me tell you that wasn't a fun summer

  4. Aw hun ouch ! You definitely need to be seen by a health professional, go to A&E, this is serious & will need to be treated as your skin is still burning. Get there as soon as you can & in future keep covered up in the sun, skin cancers are on the rise.

    Good Luck. X :-)

  5. You risk the problem of dehydration, infections, etc.  Sun burns can be just as bad as if you got burned in a fire and have to be treated as such.  They are very serious.  It sounds like you have second degree burns. You need to have this taken care of now.  Please!
