  1. I have Verizon with caller ID and anonymous call rejection.

When a private or blocked number calls my home they hear a recording that says: This person does not accept private numbers. If you would like to complete your call push 1. They then hear "pleas state your name.

If they do wish to call I then get a special ring. When I answer, I hear a recording that says "somebody would like to speak with you. Push 1 to hear who it is. I then hear the recording from the person calling. I then hear If you would like to speak to this caller push 1, if not push 2. If I push 1 the call get connected to me. If I push 2, the caller then hears, the person your are call doesn't want to talk to you good bye.

  2. You can block 'unknown', 'private' and 'out of area' calls using ACR, which works with Caller ID. Just dial *77 to activate. This will NOT block known numbers that show up on caller ID, just callers with no ID display. To block ANY number you want, I would recommend 'Call Manager' from Privacy Corps. I bought one, and it works great. You can block ANYONE. Even 800, 888 numbers, or blocks of numbers, etc. You can check them out at: http://www.privacycorps.com

  3. 727 729 3253

  4. There is a feature on your account allowing you to block certain outgoing or incoming calls, im not sure which you mean. U may not have to pay if u can get it bundled within a package. If this person calls your house, They may not get your answering maching, depending on which feature you choose...Some might completley block the caller, or some might have the caller identify themselves before you answer so you will know who is calling.
