  1. Firewalls don't 'block' programs; they keep unrequested internet traffic out.


  2. That was real helpful Dunbar, why even bother posting if you won't answer?  This question wasn't posted in hopes of getting a sarcastic response. Not everyone knows it all, like you.

    Click Start>Control Panel > Security > Windows Firewall > Change Settings, and click Continue if prompted by UAC [Windows Vista].

    2. Click on the Advanced tab.

    3. Check the applications that you want to unblock and Uncheck the applications that you want to block.
