my friend was pulled over in a car with a block policy its in her husbands name she has got her own fully comp insurance will she get done

  1. If she was going to "get done" it would have happened at the roadside. The car would have been towed away.

    Obviously it wasn't so she must have been covered to drive it.


  2. As ascoile says, clearly the boys in blue were satisfied or she'd have been walking home while the car was taken away.

  3. In the UK, you can be prosecuted for driving without insurance.  If she's insured to drive that car, they can't prosecute her.

  4. If her own policy allows her to drive a car not belonging to her then she won't get done. She should produce her certificate of insurance to the police.

    (The block policy probably does not allow her to drive which is why the police were suspicious)
