Question

Who's getting the better end of the deal?

I receive:

Steven Jackson

Terrel Owens

T.J. Houshmanzadeh

Thomas Jones

I trade:

LaDainian Tomlinson

Braylon Edwards

Larry Fitzgerald

Jonathan Stewart

Keep in mind, I had Jonathan Stewart as my starting W/R, so Thomas Jones was a big pickup.

unfortunatly i think he did.braylon will get all the catches this season. T.J wont. larry and T.O are equal, but L.T not only is the best in the league at running it, but hes a treat to the passing game too, which makes him harder to beat. thomas jones is over-rated, and you have no idea how bad or good stewart will be. he could be great, and even though hes in college, you dont know what productivity he will bring. plus, now that favre is in the house for the jets, there will be a lot more passing invlolved to accomodate him. dont trade this, its not worth it.

I think you are giving up way too much in this trade:

LT is wayyy better than S.Jackson

Edwards and Owens are similar enough

I would rate fitzgerald higher than TJ

and thomas jones is not a big enough upgrade to make up for your losses on LT and fitzgerald

if i was in ur position, and really wanted to trade those players, i would be asking for more

No way would I do that trade. NO ...  No way I would be trading LT especially for Jackson when STL has no O line. Edwards and Owens will put up similar numbers so you wouldnt be upgrading there at all. Once again TJ Housh and Fitz are equal I don't really believe you would get any upgrade there. Johnathan Stewart could be great once his toe heals and has great potential and little competition in DeAngelo Williams. Thomas Jones will benefit from B. Favre spreading the opposing Defenses out, but I dont think he'll have a sensational season.

Giving up LT in this deal is a mistake.  He is getting the better end of the deal by far.
