Question:

Blockbuster Fatigue?

Do you think it affects clubs such as Collingwood?

Do you think so many blockbusters are a good thing or a bad thing?

I personally think that when you have teams pumped up to play you every week like Collingwood does, it puts a club under pressure, and they are forced to perform at their best each week or lose. An example of this was the Melb v Coll game.

Tell me what you think, I want to hear your opinions...

  1. Sorry, I'm laughing too much.    so Micky has sucked you in, has he?

fair dinkum, malthouse comes up with more c**p then a heard of elephants,   the other year it was his young blokes were tired, i thought older blokes got tired easier,   nah,   mick reckons it's young blokes,  so it must be young blokes,   now he has come out with this c**p.  I'll tell ya something for free here,   if a side plays 'perceived' blockbusters all the time it Will only hold them in good steed for finals footy  they should win the  Grand Final every year if they are so used to playing in  'blockbusters'   jeez,  give us all a break for Christ sakes.

Mick needs to remember 'the ox  bla bla bla ' remember all that c**p too.

  2. crazy how ANYBODY would believe the c**p that constantly comes out of mick's mouth. seriously, Blockbuster Fatigue? what a terrible excuse! he should stop having whinges, be thankful that his beloved collingwood are actually able to play in EVERY SINGLE """BLOCKBUSTER""" THIS YEAR, TAKE HIS MONEY AND GET OVER IT!!!!

  3. her question is should we have blockbuster games as often.

    allright

i reakon blockbuster games are good and i like em lol BUT i dont want 10 'blockbuster' games a month, if you think about it all 4 games televised this week on normal tv (essendon, bulldogs, adelaide and collingwood) are blockbuster and i think that they are misusing the word.

a blockbuster should be anzac day, dream time at the g, queens birthday etc. there should be about 5 of them a year (not including finals) like 5 traditional games...and not 5 a round!!

well thats my opinion....i reakon their doing it for money

  4. I understand where Mick was coming from, but really I think it's just Malthouse having a whinge. All teams are forced to perform at their best each week, no matter how many people are in the crowd. Most of them are Collingwood supporters anyway.

  5. Depends wat u call a 'block buster' game..

Close matches? or Media pumped up games?

I think teams should play just as hard, with just as higher expectations to deliver every week cos thats what theyre trained and payed to do and teams that cant do it dont make the top eight and those who do it the best make the top 4..

Simple.. no excuses you either got it or you dont!

  6. Umm.. To be honest I have no idea what your question means...
