Blocked Nose - Travelling Airplane ?

Hi, Im going to hoilday in 3days time and i will be going on a plane, ive got a blocked nose and my friends tell me having a blocked nose while travelling can give u a really bad headache is this true and if so what can i do to stop it from bein so bad...

Not only a headache, but a busted eardrum if you're not careful!  I've seen grown men cry from the pain.  Take nose spray and OTC meds.

take the prescribed medicine before boarding the plane

i'm a scuba diver, equalization techniques underwater can also apply when in a plane:

blowing of nose (softly)

moving your jaw from side to side

or yawn, this may be hard to do sometimes

or chewing gums

take some sudafed tablets. they are a decongestant.  check with pharmacist if they are suitable for if u have any health conditions or take any medication . they will unblock yr nose.
