Blocked airvent miele dishwasher

Question

You mentioned that you removed the facia panel of your miele dishwasher to clean out a pipe and managed to stop the leakage of water from the air vent.  Please could you  tell me how you removed the facia panel?  And whether there is any risk of damaging the dishwasher when doing so?many thanks in advance
