Blogger Templates, Etc..

Question

I would like to create a really nice look on my blogger and maybe make it into 3 columns rather than two, but I am unsure of how to do it?

I would also like to add little blog widgets, so if anyone could post me some links that would be helpful when I am editing my blog, I'd appreciate it.
