Is it true that if a interaccial couple (man is blond european, woman is south indian) would make a baby the hair color will be red? Or is the possibility higher that the baby would get relatively dark hair as the asian and dark genes are mostly dominant?

  1. The only way for the child to have red hair is if both parents carry that recessive gene.  Dark hair - brown and black - are dominate genes.  If someone has dark hair and their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and so on all had dark hair, that person is homogeneous for dark hair.  If that person has children with someone who is blonde, the children will all have dark hair but will also carry the recessive gene for blonde hair.  If the children then have children with someone else who is blonde, the grandchildren will have a 50% chance of having blonde hair.

It really depends on what hair color the grandparents on both sides have.

To answer your question more simply, two people with different hair colors are not going to have a red headed child unless they both carry the recessive gene for red hair in their genetic code.  If they are both carriers, there is a chance for red hair.  If not, the chance is very small.

  2. my husband is Italian /olive skin black hair

Im Irish pale skin light brown hair

All 6 of my kids look exactly like me

  3. the baby  will most likely come out with dark hair and eyes. It will be very rare if the baby will have red hair, unless you or the woman have a gene for red hair.

  4. No dark hair. My sister is blonde and her partner is Indian with dark features, their daughter has dark eyes and hair and even her skin is darker in complexion.
