Blonde Playboy pitching for victory at Mildenhall – Spring 375 Preview
Blonde Playboy possesses all the potential and passion which is necessary to notch up top spot in the high-stakes Open Race of Spring 375 that will take place at Mildenhall racecourse on Tuesday night, March 27.
The G. Vass-trained black dog is capable enough to contain his potential rivals including Belvedere Flyer, Gifted Legend, Hound Dog, Gilbeyhall Jack and Blackrose George.
The £150 contest over 375m Flat track is scheduled to start at 21:00 (GMT). All the hounds are all ready for the action.
Though the race card contains some big names but Blonde Playboy stand prominent. The four-year-old veteran runner has been at the peak of form since the dawn of 2012.
The dashing dog won a race by a big margin of 4 ¼ lengths on January 20. After finishing third in another contest during the same month, the maverick sprinter moved forwarded to win three races in a row from February 24 to March 13.
The son of Disguised out of Great Madam excellently clinched third top spot in his last outing on March 20.
Overall, his career chart is adorned with epic victories and excellent runner-up ranks. At the moment, he is awash with winning momentum which will surely lend a great hand to him in tonight’s showdown. His chances to finish first are more than 90 percent.
However, some of his rivals like Blackrose George and Hound Dog can give him rather tough time on the track.
Blackrose George accomplished a marvellous triumph by 2-length margin on March 9, 2012. E. Cantillon’s black and white dog moved forward to bag another outstanding success on March 20. He finished third in his last outing. During September-November 2011,
the brilliant hound won four races in a row.
On the other hand, Hound Dog convincingly finished first in a race on January 8. The trainee of P. Cooke earned three runner-up ranks in a row from February 24 to March 9. The talented black dog grabbed a 5-length clean triumph in his last start on March
16.
Though there will be a tough competition at Mildenhall tonight but the hot favourite hound is likely to march towards victory confidently and comfortably. Good luck to him for the mega marathon.
