Blonde Reagan expected to be dominant in Gain Feeds Yorkshire St Leger - Heat 1
Blonde Reagan has been rated as the outright favourite to succeed in the Gain Feeds Yorkshire St Leger - Heat 1 at Doncaster in England on Friday, August 24, 2012. A victory in the Grade OR event will earn him a cash prize of £150. None of his rivals seem
to be in a position to challenge him, thus he will be full of confidence right now.
The shorter distance events can be a touch unpredictable, but things are different today, as the participants will have to cover an overall distance of 661 metres, which will test their stamina.
A small mistake in a shorter distance race can prove to be too costly for any runner, but the situation is completely opposite, if the overall length is above 600 metres, regardless of the fact whether it is flat or over hurdles.
Due to this, Blonde Reagan has got a great chance of dominating the proceedings at Doncaster. He is a terrific performer and has got extremely good stamina, which will be the key at the end of the day. He has been priced 4 to 6 by the bookies and it will
not be a clever idea for the punters to risk money against him.
The fawn dog does not have a lot of experience, but he has participated in quite a few Grade OR events until now and is fully aware of how to handle pressure situations. He made his debut with a solo run and was extremely quick in it. Although, it was not
enough to judge his skills, yet he showed that he had the speed to challenge the best in the business at the highest level.
Due to this, the M. Wallis’ trainee was sent into a Grade OR event pretty early in his career. He was up against some very good runners back then, but still performed really well, finishing third overall.
His next race was also a tough one and he was rated as the least favourite to succeed back then. However, he pulled off a huge surprise that time around and took the top spot by five and a half lengths.
Since then, the young runner has grown stronger and is one of the best runners right now. He has never raced at Doncaster, thus this will be a challenge for him, but he will be confident enough to cope up with the pressure in the end.
