Blonde Snapper to triumph in the Grade OR London Road Standard at Romford
Drumcove Lad, Diamond Cnoc, On The Spot, Blonde Snapper, Guinness Bandit, and Bonnan Bui will race at Romford in the Grade OR London Road Standard at 22:11 GMT. The 400 metre race, which holds a purse of £175.
Drumcove Lad is likely to threaten the other runners in this race. With odds of 5 to 2, he has an opportunity to excel.  The black hound has raced at Perry Barr, Nottingham and Belle Vue among other venues, and will be making his debut at Romford today.
The son of Scarty Lad, out of Drumcove Fancy, ended the last season with a fabulous victory as he stole the show in the Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers National Sprint – Final at Nottingham on 19th December, 2011. He went into the
race with the odds of 9 to 4, and defeated, Magna Buddy, by a narrow margin of ½ a length in 17.91 seconds.
Under C. Allsopp’s training, the hound ran three solo runs this season. On 2nd
March, 2012, he took the 210 metre track by storm, and completed it in 12.68 seconds. He covered 275 metres on 13th March, 2012 and completed the distance in 16.05 seconds.
He emerged successful from his start of the season on 21st March, 2012. He raced as a favourite in the Grade IR The Betfair Greyhound Form Guide with the odds of 7 to 4, and defeated, Jimmy Lollie, by a large difference of 3
¼ lengths.
Blonde Snapper will race today as a favourite with odds of 5 to 4. Trained by M. Wallis, the hound demonstrated his skill as he added a hat-trick to his record this season.   
The son of Droopys Kewell, out of Rough Charley, succeeded in the Grade OR The Coral.co.uk Standard on 2nd March, 2012 at Romford, where he raced as a favourite and defeated, All For David, by an immense margin of 6 ¾ lengths.
He finished as a runner-up in the Grade OR Romforddogs.com Standard at Romford on 9th March, 2012. He narrowly missed the victory as he finished ½ a length behind, Slick Sian.
He scored a terrific win at Henlow in the Grade OR Stondon Standard Dup on 15th March, 2012. He led the race and overtook the competition, finishing 1 ¾ lengths ahead of Doonane Lad
With four victories this season, he is looking to secure another one today.
It is speculated that Blonde Snapper will be victorious in this race because of his terrific performance, but Drumcove Lad may be a thorn in his way. Blonde Snapper may have a certain benefit as he has raced at Romford before.
