Blonde Spot determined to win Maidens Trophy (Heat 3)
Blonde Spot is fully determined to clinch top spot in the Coral On TV Maidens Trophy – Heat 3, an Open Race that will go down at Romford racecourse on Monday night, May 28. The action is scheduled to start at 20:28 (GMT).
On the flat ground of 400 metres, the J. Reynolds-trained brindle dog will test his racing credentials against Ryves Rock, Islas Boy, Steam Machine, Drumcrow Ted and Handy Manny. The prize purse contains £150.
Since the dawn of the calendar year, the three-year-old veteran hound has accomplished a number of iconic feats, boosting up his morale and placing himself well in the betting market.
After bagging a couple of consecutive victories in January, the dashing dog attained a magnificent success on February 28.
The talented son of Blonde Jet out of Blonde Diamond won two back-to-back races again in the month of March. After finishing as a runner-up on April 9, the brilliant hound grabbed first position in his second last start on May 7.
Overall, Blonde Spot has a number of classic victories to his name. If he runs with confidence and manages to take an early lead, he will surely be able to claim the Heat title tonight.
However, Ryves Rock can impede him badly. The B. O'Sullivan-trained black dog has outstanding success streaks to his name. After registering a fabulous hat-trick in December 2011, the young and talented hound won a race each in January and February 2012.
The son of Head Bound out of Ryves Molly went on to accomplish two consecutive conquests in March. The month of May proved to be greatly lucky for him as he grabbed two epic triumphs along with a runner-up rank in a row.
If Blonde Spot fails to block Ryves Rock in the beginning, he will have to face the music at the end of the day. However, the battle between the duo will make the event greatly thrilling and interesting.
A large number of the sport lovers will turn out to the venue to enjoy the amazing event. Let us see who carries the day. Good luck to all the six hounds.
